●The MAX5400EKA+T is a 256-tap SOT-PoT low-drift digital potentiometer in 8 pin SOT-23 package. This volatile digital potentiometer includes a fixed resistor string with a digitally controlled wiper contact. It provides glitchless switching between resistor taps as well as a convenient power-on reset that sets the wiper to the midscale (position-128) at power-up. MAX5400 serves well in applications requiring digitally controlled resistors including adjustable voltage references and programmable gain amplifiers (PGAs).
