●The MAX6686AU75L+ from Maxim Integrated Products is a dual output remote junction temperature switch in 8 pin µMAX package. This dual output temperature switch use an external diode connected transistor as a sensing element. Device has two logic outputs (THIGH and TLOW). THIGH asserts a logic signal when the remote temperature crosses the factory programmed, +120°C or +125°C upper trip threshold. TLOW is asserted when the remote temperature exceeds the lower threshold. THIGH is an open-drain, active low output and is TLOW is an open-drain, active-low output. Typically used at CPU temperature protection, fan control, multichip modules and FPGA temperature protection.

● Single supply range from 3V to 5.5V

● Pin-programmed lower temperature threshold from +40°C to +80°C or +75°C to +115°C (5°C increments)

● Open-drain, active low output

● Tlow trip range +75°C to +115°C, Thigh (active-low) trip threshold of +120°C

● Preset upper threshold of +120°C or +125°C

● Open-drain, active low output for upper temperature alarm

● 1.5°C accuracy
