●The MC1496BDG is a balanced modulator and demodulator in 14 pin SOIC package. It is designed for use where the output voltage is a product of an input voltage (signal) and a switching function (carrier). Typical applications include suppressed carrier and amplitude modulation, synchronous detection, FM detection, phase detection and chopper application.

● Excellent carrier suppression of -65dB typical at 0.5MHz and -50dB typical at 10MHz

● Adjustable gain and signal handling

● Balanced inputs and outputs

● High common mode rejection of -85dB

● Contains 8 active transistors

● Operating ambient temperature range from -40°C to +125°C

● Carrier feedthrough 40µVrms (VC = 60mVrms sine wave and offset adjusted to zero, fC = 1KHz)
