LP2981-30DBVR - TI Function Overview

●The LP2981-30DBVR is a 3V fixed output ultra low-dropout (LDO) Linear Regulator with an output tolerance of 1.25% and is capable of delivering 100mA continuous load current. A PNP pass element allows a typical dropout of 200mV at 100mA load current and 7mV at 1mA load. The use of a vertical PNP process allows for quiescent currents that are considerably lower than those associated with traditional lateral PNP regulators. A shutdown feature is available, allowing the regulator to consume only 0.01µA when the ON/OFF\ pin is pulled low.

● Low quiescent current - 600µA at full load of 100mA

● 0.01µA Shutdown current

● Fast transient response to line and load

● Overcurrent and thermal protection

● High peak current capability

● ESD protection exceeds JESD 22 - 2000V Human-body model (A114-A), 200V Machine model (A115-A)
