●The 6N137 from Fairchild is a through hole single channel high speed 10Mbit/s logic gate optocoupler in 8 pin DIP package. This Optocoupler consist of 850nm AlGaAs LED optically coupled to a high speed integrated photo detector logic gate with storable output. This device is widely used for ground loop elimination, LSTTL to TTL, LSTTL or 5Volt CMOS, line receiver, data transmission, data multiplexing, switching power supplies, pulse transformer replacement and computer peripheral interface.
