MAX627ESA+ - Maxim Integrated Function Overview

The MAX627ESA+ is a dual, non inverting monolithic power MOSFET driver in 8 pin NSOIC package. It is designed to translate TTL inputs to high voltage/current outputs. Delay times are nearly independent of VDD. This high current output driver rapidly charges and discharges the capacitance of even largest power MOSFET to within millivolts of supply rail which produces minimum on-resistance. The high speed MAX627 minimizes power losses in switching power supplies, DC to DC converters, pin diode drivers and charge pump voltage inverters.
Supply voltage range from 4.5V to 18V
Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
Fast rise and fall time of 20ns with 1000pF load
Low power consumption, 7mW with inputs low and 150mW with inputs high
TTL/CMOS input compatible
Output resistance of 4ohm at VDD = 18V, TA = 25°C, ILOAD = 10mA
Peak output current of 2A
Power supply current of 8mA at VIN = +3V both inputs & TA = 25°C
Delay time (td1) of 20ns and delay time (td2) of 25ns at TA = 25°C
